Linux Systems Administrator (2)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced Linux Systems Administrator to help us support the engineering build and test infrastructure spread across our client’s virtual servers.

A Typical Day of a Linux SysAdmin: What You Bring to the Team:
OS

  • Setting up OS on physical and virtual servers
  • Maintain existing servers
  • Install application on basis of documentation delivered by application owners
  • Implement updates
  • Application and issue support of production systems
  • Ensure availability, performance, and monitoring of environments

Satellite & IDM

  • Ensure new hosts are added to the management system
  • Monitoring of client connection/ fix connection issues
  • Client Operating like patch management and pw change etc.
  • Ensure availability, performance and monitoring of the environments

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with team members and other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
  • As a flexible team player, you will be required to engage in a shift work environment and provide On-call coverage
  • 4-5 years of experience with operating systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment & prioritize work while multi-tasking
  • Highly driven to constantly improve skills and gain new knowledge
  • Working experience with Red Hat Oracle Clustering
